9 p.m. Routine

We at ivalueSafety.com want to share the 9 p.m. Routine which is a national social media campaign police departments around the country are joining. Police Departments are posting checklists on social media at 9:00 pm Local Time as a friendly reminder for residents of crime prevention habits. Example of daily crime prevention habits are to turn on outdoor lighting, remove valuables from your car, lock your car/house doors, check your cameras to make sure they’re working and call the police immediately if you see anything suspicious.

A little prevention can help avoid a lot of aggravation resulting from being a crime victim. Check to see if any of your local police departments are participating. You can also log onto 9 p.m. Routine.
